Why was Jasmi started?
During India's rise as a manufacturing hub in the early 2000s, few envisioned the potential for creating a sophisticated sofa manufacturing unit meeting global standards. While China dominated the global furniture market, India, despite its skilled craftsmen and abundant manpower, lagged far behind in mass production.
This gap sparked the ambition to establish a world-class manufacturing unit in India that could produce sofas at par with international standards, marking the inception of Jasmi. Jasmi emerged with a vision to provide affordable luxury through its products to emerging consumers in India and worldwide.

In 2006, what we started was a modest unit of 45,000 sq. ft. with a workforce of 120 catering
the domestic market alone now has grown to an enterprise comprising of 3 factories of a total 2,50,000 sq. ft.
with a workforce force of 900 and counting.
